IBM Rational Application Developer

After integration the Rational Products in the IBM structure, the IBM WebSphere Application Studio was renamed into Rational Application Developer for WebSphere. This product, that is based on the Eclipse Framework, enables a developer or a group ofdevelopers to design and create complex application structures based upon an intuitice and well accepted IDE.
IBM RAD will become the home of all different development tools of IBM and serve as the universal tool. Because it is based on Eclipse, available extensions can be simply integrated in this environment.
